Bombay Missal Llp

Our office is in Building 53, specifically unit C/8 in the Deora Building. We are situated on Rani Satimarg in Malad East, which is right near the Bank of India. If you know the area, you know it’s a bit of a maze back there. We’ve been working on our missal business from this spot for a while now. It’s a small space, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into it. Most of our day is spent dealing with the logistics of sourcing the right farsan and sprouts for our recipes. Malad East is a lively neighborhood, and being so close to the bank means there’s always people walking by. The Deora Building is an older structure, so it has its quirks, like the occasional plumbing issue or a flickering light in the hallway that we keep meaning to fix. We don't mind it much. We’re just regular folks trying to make a go of it. Sometimes the spice smell from our testing gets a bit strong and drifts out into the corridor, but no one has complained yet. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and making sure the deliveries are going to the right places. It’s not a very high-tech operation; we use a lot of handwritten lists and old folders. We just focus on the work and try to stay on top of the orders as they come in. It’s a bit of a grind, but we like being part of the local community and doing something we understand well.
