Bakerashtra Foods Llp

Our kitchen is up on the second floor of the Saikrupa Building on Sewri Wadala Road. It’s a bit of a climb to room 206, but that’s where all the baking for Bakerashtra Foods happens. We are right near the UDCT College, so there is always a lot of movement and noise on the street outside. Being in Wadala, space is always a bit tight, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into this unit on Plot 161. We spend most of our hours dealing with flour bags and making sure the temperature in the room is right for the dough. It isn't a retail shop where you can just walk in and browse, it's more of a production spot. We started this because we liked the idea of making food that stays true to what people around here actually eat. The building itself is pretty busy with other businesses too, so there's a real mix of people coming and going. Sometimes the deliveries are a bit tricky because the road gets so jammed up, but we make it work somehow. We are just a small team trying to keep the ovens hot and the orders moving out the door. No one here wears a suit; we’re usually covered in a bit of flour by lunchtime. It is honest work, and we just focus on getting the food right every day. It's just a regular workplace in a busy part of the city.
