Our workshop is in the Nahar & Seth Industrial Premises in Andheri East. We’re in Gala G1 on the ground floor, so it’s easy enough to find if you’re in the Chakala area. Andheri is always moving, and our little corner of it is no different. We started this because we liked working with our hands and seeing what we could make. It’s an industrial setup, so you won't find plush carpets or soft lighting here. It’s mostly tools, workbenches, and the smell of metal being worked. We spend a lot of time on each piece, making sure it’s decent before it goes out. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, which happens more often than we’d like to admit. The people working here have been with us for a while, so we’re like a small family. We don’t go in for big sales pitches. Usually, people find us because they need something specific or they’ve heard we do solid work. Being in Chakala is convenient for transport, even if the traffic is a nightmare sometimes. We just focus on the jewelry. Every day brings something different, maybe a repair or a new design someone asked for. We take it as it comes. It’s a bit dusty and noisy sometimes, but it’s where we do our best work. We’re just regular people making jewelry in Andheri.
