You can find us on the third floor of a building on Sheikh Memon Street. Being in Zaveri Bazar means we are right in the heart of the jewelry trade in Mumbai. It’s always crowded and moving fast downstairs, but up here in room 306, it’s a bit quieter. We’ve been in this spot for some time. Zaveri Bazar has a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of that. We mostly work on specific jewelry designs and handle the day-to-day tasks of running a small office and workshop. It’s not a place with big glass windows looking out onto the street. Instead, people find their way up the stairs or the lift to see us. We focus on the actual craft. There’s a lot of competition around here, but we just stay in our lane and do what we know how to do. Some days are slow, and other days everyone seems to need something at the exact same time. We don’t have fancy brochures or a PR person. If you come by, you’ll likely see us at our desks or working with some gold. It’s practical work. We’ve seen the market change over the years, but the way we handle our business hasn't changed much. We stay honest with our customers and keep things simple. It’s just how we were taught to do things in this trade.
