Our office is in Block A/1 of the Bindu Shopping Center on Tilak Road. Being in Santacruz West means there is always a lot of activity right outside our door. It’s a convenient spot, even if the parking is nearly impossible most days. Anahhata Buildwell is a small team. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations; the walls are mostly covered with calendars and project timelines. We spend our days managing various building sites across this part of Mumbai. It involves a lot of back-and-forth with contractors and making sure the supplies like sand and bricks actually get delivered when they're supposed to. We often have lunch at our desks while we look over the latest set of drawings. The shopping center is an older building, so it has its quirks, like the occasional leaky pipe or a flickering light in the hallway. We don’t mind it much. We’re more interested in what’s happening at our construction sites than the state of our office carpet. Building things in a place as crowded as Santacruz requires a lot of careful planning and a bit of luck with the weather. We try to keep things simple and honest with the people we work for. There’s no point in overcomplicating things. We just want to do a solid job and move on to the next task. It's hard work, but it feels good when a building is finally finished and ready for use.
