Our office is up on the fourth floor of Vaishali Diamond Arch over in Dahisar West. It’s right on Y T Road, so it’s not too hard to get to if you know the area. We focus on findings, those little bits and pieces that hold jewelry together. It’s not the most glamorous part of the trade, but somebody has to do it. The building has some other diamond businesses too, so there is always a bit of talk in the lobby. We’ve been here for some time now. Some days it is just us sorting through small parts and making sure the orders are right. We aren't a massive corporation, just a few of us working together. Sometimes the lift in the building takes forever, which can be annoying when we are in a hurry. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the desk gets a mess of papers. Dealing with jewelry findings means being careful with small details. We don’t spend much on advertising because word of mouth usually works for us in this neighborhood. If someone needs a specific part, they usually just call or drop by the office. It’s a quiet place to work compared to the main road outside. We just keep our heads down and get the job done. It's a simple life really, just making sure the jewelry makers get what they need. We've been at this for years and it suits us just fine.
