Our office is tucked away in the Gorai Mhada Layout, specifically at bungalow 258-273. It’s right behind the Swami Vivekanand School, so we hear the school bells and the kids playing during the day. Ameliecurie International Consultancy is run by a few of us who wanted a workspace that didn’t feel like a cold office building. Being in a bungalow gives it a much more relaxed vibe. We do international consultancy work, which means we spend a lot of time on the phone or on the internet talking to people in different time zones. The layout in Gorai is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, but it’s a nice area with a lot of trees around. We don't have a giant sign outside or anything, just our small setup inside. We handle a lot of paperwork and advice for people. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment. We just sit at our desks, drink our coffee, and get through the tasks for the day. Sometimes we walk over to the local shops for lunch. It feels like a very local, neighborhood business. We’ve been in this 400091 zip code for a while now and we really like the pace of life here. It’s practical and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work we need to do. It’s a good way to spend the workday without too much fuss.
