Akrm Advisors is based out of Viceroy Park in Thakur Village. We’re up in Tower D, so we get a bit of a view of the Western Express Highway if the windows are clean. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main road, which we appreciate when we’re trying to concentrate on some numbers. We’ve been here for a bit now, just working as advisors for anyone who needs our help. The office is really just a flat that we’ve converted into a workspace. It feels more like a home than a corporate office, which suits us just fine. We have a couple of desks, some old chairs, and a printer that occasionally acts up. Most days start with a quick chat about what’s on the schedule and then we just get to it. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. Thakur Village is a nice spot with plenty of places to grab lunch, so we usually wander out for a bit in the afternoon. We’re not a huge firm with thousands of clients. We prefer keeping things smaller so we actually know who we’re talking to when someone calls. It’s just honest work, really. We spend our hours looking over documents and giving advice based on what we’ve learned over the years. No frills, just us in Kandivali East doing our best every day.
