Starting off here in Bhandup West at the Bhanubai chawl office, things stay pretty busy for us. We’ve been operating out of Sarvodaya Nagar for a while now, and if you know this part of Mumbai, you know it’s always moving. It’s a small setup at number 7, but it works for what we do. We mostly handle building projects and some development work around the local area. Most days you’ll find us sitting around the desk, dealing with paperwork or talking to contractors on the phone. It isn't a fancy glass building or anything like that, just a regular place where we get the work done. People around here know where to find us if they have questions about a site. Sometimes the traffic in Bhandup makes getting around a bit of a headache, but we manage. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the last few years, with new shops opening up and more people moving in. Working in construction means there is always something going on, whether it's checking on materials or making sure the workers are on track. We don't really do the whole big corporate thing. It’s more about just showing up every day and making sure the projects we have are moving forward. If you are walking past Sarvodaya Nagar, you might see us. We’re just local people doing our jobs and trying to keep everything running smoothly without too much fuss or complicated talk.
