Handlum Company

Over here in Mandsaur, we run Handlum Company. We are located right by Shreeji Chitra Mandir, and the Ghnta Ghar is just a short walk away. You can hear the clock tower bells throughout the day if the traffic isn't too loud. The shop is full of different fabrics and handloom items. It smells like fresh cotton and old wood in here. We spend a lot of time unfolding and folding cloth for people who stop by. Since we are near the cinema, we get a lot of people wandering in after a show. The lighting in the shop isn't the best, but it works for what we need. We’ve got an old wooden counter that’s been here since we opened up. Mandsaur is a busy place, especially the market area around us. There’s always someone shouting or a scooter honking outside. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just focus on the customers who walk through the door. Sometimes we have tea with the neighbors when business is slow in the afternoon. It’s a very local feel. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything. We just like what we do and the people we meet. The shelves are a bit disorganized sometimes because we have so much stock, but we know where everything is. It’s a cozy, slightly messy place that feels like home to us. If you pass the Ghnta Ghar, you're basically there.
