Sahara Enterprises

Sahara Enterprises is located in Ward Number 22 in Kolar. We are very close to the Clock Tower. It’s a landmark everyone knows around here. If you stand by the tower you can almost see our entrance. The building is older but it’s sturdy. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our stock and a small desk where I sit to handle the accounts. Kolar has changed a lot since we started out but this corner stays mostly the same. The traffic can be a bit much in the evenings when everyone is headed home. We usually open up early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. My nephew helps me out with the heavy lifting and the deliveries. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people find us by word of mouth or because they were passing by the tower. The walls inside could use a fresh coat of paint but we are always too busy to get to it. We have a small fan that rattles a lot but it keeps us cool enough. It’s a basic business. We buy things and we sell things. We’ve known the other shop owners on this street for years. We all look out for each other. It’s a good community to be a part of and we plan on staying here as long as we can.
