We are located at No. 79 Main Road in Moolaikaraipatti. It’s a small town, and everyone pretty much knows where the shop is. We’ve been selling textiles here for quite some time now. It's a family-run place. We have shelves full of different fabrics and sarees. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we try to show the colors in the sunlight by the door when customers ask. It's a simple shop with a stone floor that stays cool even in the summer heat. We don't have a computer; we do all the billing by hand on paper pads. It's how we've always done things. Moolaikaraipatti is a quiet place most days, but it gets busy during festival times. That’s when we have to work late to get everything sorted and organized. We don't have fancy displays, just the stacks of cloth. Customers come in and sit on the benches while we pull things down for them to see. It’s a slow process sometimes, but nobody seems to mind the wait. We enjoy the chat as much as the selling. My sons help out when they aren't at school. We don't really have a big plan for the future, just to keep the shop going as long as we can. It’s our life and we’re happy with it. The old wooden shelves are starting to creak under the weight of the fabric.
