St. Alphonsa Convent School

St. Alphonsa Convent School is tucked away on Street No.6 in Model Town. We are just off Sito Road in Abohar. It’s a pretty established part of town, so things are fairly settled around here. The school has been part of the neighborhood for a good while now. You walk down the street and you’ll see our gates. Inside, it’s a typical school setup. We have the brick buildings and the courtyard where the students gather. It’s not a fancy place with high-tech gadgets in every corner, but we have what’s needed for a decent education. The teachers are usually busy with their lesson plans and grading papers in the staff room. You can hear the hum of voices from the classrooms if you walk by during the day. Sometimes the street gets a bit blocked with cycles and rickshaws during pick-up time, which is just part of the daily life in Abohar. We don’t have a big PR department or a shiny website that says much. Most people know us because they live nearby or their cousins went here years ago. It’s a bit old-fashioned in some ways, but it works for the families in Model Town. We just keep our heads down and focus on the kids. The walls might need a new coat of paint soon, but the atmosphere is honest and the work gets done every single day.
