Shree Ganesh Rice Mills

Shree Ganesh Rice Mills is situated on Kotha Guru Ka Road in Bhagta Bhai Ka. It is a straight shot down the road, and you can’t miss the tall chimneys. The yard is usually full of husks and stray grain, which the local birds seem to enjoy quite a bit. Inside the mill, it is always a bit dark even with the lights on, mostly because of the high ceilings and the shadows from the big machines. We have a small crew of people who have been here forever. We don't really bother with fancy titles or anything. Everyone just knows what their job is. Some days the machinery acts up and we have to spend hours with a wrench trying to get it back online. It is part of the life here. Bhagta Bhai Ka is a decent place to work, and Kotha Guru Ka Road gets its fair share of traffic. We sit outside on old wooden benches during lunch and watch the tractors go by. It’s not a glamorous job, but the rice needs to be processed and we are the ones here to do it. We don’t use a lot of big words or marketing talk because our work speaks for itself to the people who bring their crops here. It is just a regular mill doing regular work every day of the week.
