We are located right in the Old Grain Market area, which is always a hive of activity. Being near Jalalabad Road means there is a constant stream of tractors and trucks passing by our door. This part of town has been around forever, and you can really feel that history when you walk through the market. Our building is a bit older, with those high ceilings that help a bit when it gets humid. We spend our mornings checking what came in overnight and getting things ready for the local builders who stop by. It’s loud out there with everyone shouting prices and the engines idling. We’ve got a small crew, just enough to handle the loading without too much waiting around. Sometimes we run out of space because the market is so cramped, so we have to be really organized with how we stack things. We don't really have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It's just a practical space for moving supplies. Most of the people we deal with are regulars who have been coming to this market for decades. We share news about the weather or the local roads over a quick cup of tea. It's a rough and tumble environment, but it feels like home to us. The dust from the grain and the cement mix together in the air sometimes, but nobody seems to mind much. We just focus on the daily deliveries.
