About Hari Rice Mills – Food & Beverages in Muktsar
We’ve been here on Muktsar Road for quite a while now. Most days just start with the same sound of the machines turning on early. You get used to the dust and the way the sun hits the piles of grain in the morning. People around here know where we are. It’s not a fancy place, just some sheds and the yard where the trucks pull in. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and we have to cover everything up fast. My father used to say the mill has its own rhythm. We just keep up with it. The crew knows what they’re doing, they don't need much talk. We spend a lot of time checking the husks and making sure the bags are filled right. It’s heavy work, honestly. My back feels it by the end of the week. But that’s just how it is. We see the same drivers coming through every season. We talk a bit about the crop or the road conditions, then get back to it. There’s always something to fix, a belt or a motor acting up. You just grab the tools and deal with it. It’s a simple life out here on the edge of town, but it keeps us busy enough. We don't have fancy signs or a big office. Just the mill and the road and the work we do every day.
