Garg Steel Traders

Garg Steel Traders is located on Bibi Wala Road. It’s a busy spot, especially since we are so close to Bakshi Hospital. You can always hear the sirens and the cars passing by. Working with steel is heavy and dirty work. We spend our days moving pipes and sheets around the yard. My clothes usually have a bit of rust or grease on them by the end of the day, but that’s part of the trade. We don't have a fancy showroom. Everything is kept out in the open or under basic sheds to keep the rain off. It can get very dusty here when the wind picks up, which happens a lot on this road. We have a small office area where we sit down to do the billing and talk to the customers who drive in. Most of our regulars are local builders or guys doing small repairs. They know they can just pull up their trucks and we’ll get them loaded. It’s a practical business. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations or marketing. We just focus on what’s in the yard and getting the orders out on time. The hospital landmark makes it easy to give directions over the phone. Life on Bibi Wala Road is fast, but we’ve got our own pace in the steel yard. It is just how we operate day in and day out without any unnecessary fuss or trouble. We just keep at it and hope for good weather.
