Garg Tv Centre

Our shop is right near the bakery in Bariwala, so it usually smells like fresh bread around here in the mornings. Garg Tv Centre is basically just a room full of screens and spare parts. Most of the time, the place is a bit of a mess with cables and tools everywhere. We’ve been fixing and selling televisions for a long time now. People bring in all sorts of old sets that they don't want to throw away, and we see what we can do. Some days it’s just us sitting at the bench with a soldering iron, trying to find a tiny short on a circuit board. It’s quiet work until someone turns on a TV to test the sound. We know most of the neighbors because they walk past every day on their way to get cakes or biscuits. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of guys who know their way around electronics. If a TV is too far gone, we just tell the customer straight. There’s no point in wasting their money. The shop gets a bit dusty with all the fans running, but that’s how it goes. We like being in Bariwala; it's a tight-knit place where everyone knows whose kid belongs to whom. We’re just here doing our bit, making sure people can watch their shows at night without the screen flickering. We keep a few spare remotes handy too, just in case someone lost theirs.
