Janta Haddi Hospital

Out here on Majhwara Road in Bhimpura, things move at their own pace. We run this hospital mostly focusing on bone issues and general stuff people run into. The building is easy to find if you’re coming down the main road. It’s not a shiny new place, but it’s sturdy and we keep it clean for the patients. We have a few beds set up for people who need to stay a bit longer and a space where we look at x-rays and talk to families. Dealing with bones means we see a lot of people with bandages or walking with sticks. The waiting area has some plastic chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We get a lot of natural light through the windows in the morning which is nice. There’s usually a bit of a breeze coming off the road. Most of the folks who come here are from Bhimpura or the little villages nearby. They know us and we know them. We don't use a lot of big medical words if we can help it. We just explain what happened to the bone and what needs to be done to fix it. It’s a quiet kind of work most days, though it can get busy if there’s been a bit of trouble on the road. We just do what we can with the tools we have here. We stay open and wait for the next person to come through the gates.
