Sachidanand Cement Pole Industries. You can find us near the Sangolli Rayanna Circle, right on the Mahaling Pur Road. We are in the Bhagalkot district. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the traffic. We focus on making cement poles here. It’s heavy work, and you need a good back for it. We have a few guys from the village who come in every day to help with the casting. The molds are heavy, and we have to be careful when we move the finished poles so they don't chip or break. We’ve been operating from this lot for several years now. It’s not the prettiest place to look at, just some stacks of poles and a pile of gravel, but it gets the job done. I usually spend my time checking the reinforcement wire to make sure it’s straight before we pour. If the wire isn't right, the pole won't hold up for the customers. We sell mostly to people doing fencing or putting up lines for electricity in the rural areas. Sometimes the weather gets really hot, and the concrete dries too fast, so we have to keep spraying it with water to keep it cool. It’s a constant battle with the elements. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to keep the yard running and make sure the orders are ready when people come to pick them up.
