Preethi Graphics

Preethi Graphics is in the Lavantha Complex, near the bus stand in the Dakshina Kannada district. The exact address is 4-197(4). Being so close to the bus stand means there is always a lot of noise and people running to catch their rides. It’s a convenient spot, though. We get a lot of people who just drop in because they saw our sign while waiting for a bus. The shop is small, just enough space for a couple of computers and a printer. We do a lot of local work, like wedding invitations or small posters for events. The walls are a bit bare, except for a few calendars. During the monsoon, the rain hits the roof so loud we can barely hear each other speak. Dakshina Kannada gets a lot of rain, as everyone knows. We have to keep the plastic sheets ready to cover the equipment if the roof leaks a little. It’s just me and one other person working most days. We drink a lot of coffee from the stall next door. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to tell people to come back the next day. It’s not a high-tech lab, just a practical place for graphics work. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just do the work for the people who walk through the door. Our goal is just to finish everything before the last bus leaves the stand.
