Jayasakthi Garments

We are based out of Shed No. 17 in the Sidco Industrial Estate at Mudalipalayam. It is an industrial area, so there are a lot of other sheds and factories all around us. Jayasakthi Garments is basically just a large working floor. We have the heavy machines and the cutting tables set up across the space. It’s not a quiet place. There is always a hum of engines or the sound of iron pressing down. Being in Mudalipalayam means we are a bit away from the main town center, but it works for us. The estate is a bit rough around the edges, with trucks moving in and out constantly. We focus on getting the garment orders filled. Sometimes we stay late when a big batch needs to go out to T Nager Po. The roof is high and it gets quite warm in the middle of the day. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting room. If you come by, you'll see us right there on the floor working. It is dusty and there are scraps of cloth everywhere. That's just how a garment shed looks. We've been at Shed 17 for a good while. It's hard work, but it is what we know how to do. Some days are longer than others, especially when the power goes out, but we manage. We just keep the needles moving and try to stay on top of the schedule.
