We are located out in Kanpet Village, which is part of the Ramdurg Taluk in Belgaum District. Our address is 82-6-45, but out here, names of people and places usually work better than numbers. It’s a long drive from the main city, and the roads can be a bit bumpy depending on the rain. We focus on organic products because that’s what makes sense for the land we have here. Corey Organics started small, just working with the soil and seeing what would grow best without too much interference. It’s a lot of manual labor, and your hands are rarely clean at the end of the day. The village is quiet, which is how we like it. We spend most of our time out in the fields or in the storage area making sure everything is handled right. We don't have a big staff, just a group of dedicated people who don't mind getting their boots dirty. The weather can be unpredictable, so we are always checking the clouds. It’s a practical way of living and working. We aren't looking to become some massive empire, we just want to produce organic stuff that people can actually trust. Sometimes we run into problems with the crops or the transport, but that’s just life in the village. We take it one day at a time and try to stay honest with the earth we are farming on.
