Dr. Srikanths Diabetes Specialities Centre-Vijayawada

Our clinic is situated right across from the Eenadu office here in Vijayawada. It’s a busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of traffic and people moving around outside our windows. Inside, it’s a bit more controlled, but we still have plenty of folks coming in and out all day for their checkups. We focus mostly on diabetes, so we spend a lot of time doing blood tests and talking to patients about their diets and medicine. The waiting room isn't very large, and it can get quite full by mid-morning, with people sitting and reading old magazines while they wait for their turn. We don’t have fancy decor or anything like that; it’s just a plain medical office with white walls and the smell of rubbing alcohol. The staff stays busy filing charts and answering the phone, which never seems to stop ringing. Dr. Srikanth is usually back in the exam rooms, and the rest of us try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can. It’s a lot of routine work, checking numbers and writing out prescriptions, but it’s important for the people who live around here. We’ve been in this spot for a good while now, and most people just use the newspaper office across the street as a landmark to find us. It’s just a normal day of work, helping people manage their health as best as we can.
