Virendra Kumar Chaudhari Construction Private Limited is basically run by Virendra Choudhary himself out of Tarkulwa. It is a small operation, mostly just us going out to different spots to see what needs building. Tarkulwa is where everything starts every morning. We do not have a lot of people in the office because most of us are out where the actual work is happening. Construction is what we know. It is about getting the materials to the site and making sure the foundations are solid. We do not use big words or have a slick presentation for what we do. If a wall needs to go up, we figure out how to put it up. Virendra is usually the one making sure everything is moving along. We have some machines and a few regular guys who have been with us for a bit. It is hard work and your hands get dirty every single day. That is just how it is. Sometimes we are working in the heat and other times we are dealing with rain, but we try to keep moving. We are just local people building for other local people. There is no secret to it, just showing up and putting in the hours. If you pass through Tarkulwa and ask for Virendra, people usually know where he is. We just keep our heads down and work on the next project that comes our way. It is a steady way to live.
