Rahat Clinic

Rahat Clinic is right on Nahar Road, just a short walk from the bus stand here in Raxaul. It’s a very busy part of town because of all the buses going back and forth to Motihari. There is always a lot of dust and noise, but that’s just life near the bus stand. We have a small setup here that’s been around for quite some years. The canal, or the nahar, is right nearby, so that’s how everyone knows the road name. We get a lot of people who are traveling and feel sick, or locals who just live around the Raxaul area. The clinic isn’t much to look at from the outside. We have a simple door and a small sign. Inside, we have some benches that are a bit worn out from so many people sitting on them. We don’t have any polished floors or bright lights. It’s just a practical space where we can talk to patients and give out some help. We keep a kettle in the corner for making tea during the breaks. The traffic outside can be loud with all the horns, but we just keep the door closed when it’s too much. We don't do appointments; you just show up and wait your turn. It’s the way things work around here. We just try to be a reliable spot for anyone in Raxaul. It is a bit chaotic sometimes but we get it done.
