National Traders & Hardware

We’ve been running National Traders & Hardware for a while now down here at Mansur Market. It’s right by Nakardeyee Chowk in Sugauli, which most folks in East Champaran know pretty well. If you’re heading toward Raxaul, you’ll probably pass by us. It is just a regular shop where we keep the shelves stocked with whatever hardware stuff people might need for their houses or projects. We spend most of our days talking to neighbors and helping them find a specific bolt or a tool they lost. The market gets busy sometimes, especially being at the chowk, but we like the pace. It isn't a fancy place with big signs, just a straightforward store where the floors might be a bit dusty from the cement bags. We handle the daily tasks ourselves, from unloading the trucks to counting the inventory when things get quiet in the evening. There are plenty of places to get supplies, but people seem to stop here because they know we are usually around and have the basics ready to go. The weather in Sugauli can be tough on the building, so we’re always fixing something or moving stock to keep it dry. It’s just how things go when you run a small trading business in this part of the country. Nothing too complicated about it, just showing up every morning and opening the shutters for whoever walks in.
