You can find Nandlal Prasad & Company out in Bara Bariyarpur. We are right on National Highway 28 A, not too far from the Rehman Cold Storage and the Post Office in Motihari. It’s a busy stretch of road with lots of trucks passing by all the time. Our place is pretty basic. We’ve got a large area to store things and a small office where we handle the paperwork. It’s mostly just us and a few helpers. We spend a lot of time dealing with the logistics of being on the highway. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, so we are always cleaning. We’ve been operating here for a long time now. It started small and just stayed that way mostly. We don't have any fancy mission statements or goals. We just want to make sure the customers get what they need when they stop by. Being near the cold storage helps people find us easier. We know the local guys around Motihari pretty well. The work is steady but it’s not always easy. We have to deal with the weather and the traffic every day. It’s just how it is working out here on the highway. We show up early, drink some tea, and then get to work. Sometimes the electricity is a bit patchy out here, so we have to adjust our schedule. We don't complain much, we just wait it out.
