Hardik Traders is tucked away in Ward No. 30 of Lachhmipur Village. It’s a quiet spot in the Motihari Block, though things get a bit more lively near the Gayatri Mandir. We handle various goods that the people in Purbi Champaran need for their homes and farms. It’s not like those big city stores with bright lights. Our shop is simple, with stuff stacked wherever there is space. We know the village life well because we live right here too. Often, someone will stop by just to ask about the weather or how the crops are doing before they buy anything. We keep the books by hand mostly. It can be a bit slow sometimes, especially during the midday heat when everyone stays indoors. But once the sun starts to go down, the area near the temple picks up and we get busy again. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is in order. It’s about being reliable for the neighbors. If someone needs something urgently, we try to help out. It’s just a small business trying to stay afloat and serve the village as best as we can. Every day brings something different, even if it's just a new person stopping by while passing through Lachhmipur. We don't have a big sign out front, but everyone knows the building by now. The work is steady and it keeps us tied to the land here.
