Ganpati General Store

Ganpati General Store is located right in Balua Bazar. We are in Ward No 28 of Motihari, and the railway line is just a short distance away. You can hear the trains passing by throughout the day, which is something I’ve gotten used to after being here for so long. This part of East Champaran is always moving, especially since we are near the Post Office and the main market area. I started this store because I wanted to have my own small business in the Tehsil where I grew up. The shop is full of shelves from floor to ceiling, and I try to squeeze in as much as I can. It might look a bit disorganized to someone else, but I know exactly where every single item is kept. From household goods to small snacks, I keep it all. Being so close to the railway line means I get people stopping in while they are waiting or just passing through the bazar. It gets quite hot in the summer, and I usually have a small fan running to keep the air moving. My family sometimes helps me out when it gets really crowded on the weekends. I don't have a website or any big ads. People just know to come to Ward 28 when they need something quick. It’s a plain, honest store that serves the people living around Balua Bazar every single day of the week. I try to keep things fair for the folks who live here.
