Chandana Surgicare

Chandana Surgicare is right in the middle of Raja Bazar in Motihari. If you know the bazar, you know how packed it gets with people and carts and scooters. We are tucked into that busy market environment. We deal with surgical items and general healthcare supplies. The shop is usually a bit of a squeeze because we have to store so many different types of equipment and boxes. It’s me and a couple of others working here most days. We spend a lot of time talking to doctors from the local clinics and families who need specific items for surgeries. The heat in the bazar can be pretty intense during the summer, but we have a couple of fans going to keep the place bearable. We don't have any polished sales pitches or corporate slogans. We just know our inventory and try to help people find the right size or type of whatever they are looking for. Sometimes deliveries are late because of the narrow streets in Raja Bazar, but we make do. It is a busy, noisy life here in the market, but we like being where the action is. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to this bazar for years. We just keep our heads down and keep the shop running for anyone who needs us, making sure the supplies are ready when they are needed most.
