Champaran Diesel

If you walk down Bank Road, you’ll find Champaran Diesel. We’ve been here for a good long while. It’s a spot where there’s always a faint smell of oil and fuel in the air. We deal with diesel engines and all the parts that go along with them. It’s a noisy business because we’re often testing something or moving heavy metal parts around the floor. Most of our day is spent looking under hoods or taking apart injectors. The workbench is always messy with tools and greasy rags, but that’s how we like it. We know where the 10mm wrench is, usually. Bank Road is busy, so there’s always people passing by and sticking their heads in to ask a question about their truck or tractor. We don’t have any fancy marketing people. We just fix what’s broken and sell the parts that people need to keep their engines running. Sometimes the work is slow and we just sit by the door and watch the traffic. Other times, everyone needs something at once and it’s a bit of a scramble. We’ve been part of this street for years and the people around here know us by name. It’s just a regular shop where we get our hands dirty every single day. There’s no secret to it, just knowing how the engines work.
