13 Bears By Sasha Pokrass is located at Naroji Wada, specifically House No 135 in Ternem. It’s a bit of a different spot compared to the busier parts of Morjim, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed. We spend a lot of time working on things by hand here. The house itself has a lot of character and we've tried to make it a place where we can actually get work done without too many distractions. It isn't a big factory or a retail chain, just a local spot where things are made. Sometimes the neighbors come by to say hello or we see people walking through the village area. We don't have a lot of staff, so things happen at a human pace. If the door is open, someone is usually inside working on a project or organizing some materials. It can get a bit messy when we are in the middle of something, but that's just part of the process. We like being in this part of Ternem because it feels more like home than a business district. The air is a bit better here too. We just focus on what we are doing and hope people like what they see when they visit. It’s a simple setup with just enough space for us to be creative and stay busy. There is usually some music playing in the background while we sort through supplies or pack things up for people.
