Safa Rice Products Pvt. Ltd. is based in Lengribori village, which is in the Moirabari Tehsil of Marigaon district. We are located right near the Borthal Doloigaon Higher Secondary school. It’s a quiet rural area most of the time, except when the school lets out and the kids are all over the road. Our work revolves entirely around rice products, which is the main thing people do around here anyway. The facility is a bit of a walk from the main village center, but everyone knows the way. We spend a lot of our time sorting through the grain and making sure the processing units are running okay. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes with the power supply in the village, but we have learned to work around the outages. We aren't a big city company with a lot of polished talk. We are just local people working with what the land provides. The shed where we store the finished products is usually full of stacked sacks, and there’s always a bit of a rush to get things loaded onto the trucks before the rain starts. It’s honest work, even if it is a bit tiring and dusty at the end of the day. We don't have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just want to process the rice, sell it, and make sure we can do it all again tomorrow.
