About Vinayak Bricks – Building & Construction Material in Morena
If you find yourself driving on Ambah Road in Saraha, you’ll see our place right across from the Hanuman Mandir. We operate out of Vinayak Hardware, which makes things a bit cramped sometimes but it works for us. The bricks are usually stacked outside where there is enough room for the big trucks to maneuver. It's quite noisy because of the traffic going toward the temple, but we're used to the sound by now. My cousin and I handle most of the orders that come through the hardware shop. We spend a lot of our time moving pallets and making sure the counts are right for the customers. The dust from the road covers everything, so you have to wipe your face and your tools a lot. We don’t have any fancy brochures or anything like that. People just stop their vehicles, ask what we have, and we show them the piles in the back. Sometimes the supply is a bit slow if the weather has been bad at the kiln, but we just tell people how it is. We try to keep things organized but bricks are messy and heavy. The temple bells ring every morning and that's usually when we start our day. It’s a simple setup. We deal with builders mostly, but local people come for small home repairs too. We just sit on the wooden stools near the entrance and wait for the next delivery truck to show up. It’s just us doing our daily bit here on the road.
