Subhlaxmi Sales

Subhlaxmi Sales is located right on the Ambah Morena Main Road, and it is a pretty busy spot to be in. We are just a short walk away from the Balaji Filling Station, which is where most people tell their friends to meet them if they are looking for us. The road outside stays quite dusty because of all the trucks and tractors moving between Ambah and Morena all day long. My brother and I run the place and we usually have the radio playing in the background while we wait for customers to stop by. We sell various items that people in this area need for their daily work. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a regular brick building with some fans to keep the heat away in the summer. Sometimes when the power goes out, we just sit outside on plastic chairs and talk to the neighbors. It gets really busy during the harvest season when everyone is out on the road. We don't spend much money on decorations or big signs because most people already know we are here. Our day usually starts around nine and we don't head back home until the sun has been down for a while. It’s a simple life and the work is steady enough to keep us going. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the stock piles up in the corners when a new shipment arrives from the city.
