Heena Medical Store

Heena Medical Store is right in Jiwajiganj, which is a part of town most people know well. We’ve been operating out of this same spot for quite a while now. The shop is small and simple, with just enough room for the counter and the medicine cabinets. We don't have much space for anything extra, so we have to be very careful about how we stack things. It’s a bit of a puzzle sometimes trying to fit everything in. Most of the people who come in are neighbors or people who work nearby. We recognize most of the faces that walk through the door. Jiwajiganj has a lot of foot traffic, so we stay pretty busy from the moment we open the shutters in the morning. We don't have any fancy computers or high-tech systems, just a ledger and some pens to keep track of things. It’s the way we’ve always done it. Sometimes it gets a bit loud outside with all the people and the motorbikes, but we’re used to it by now. We don't spend any money on marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. We're just a local medical store helping out whoever stops by with a prescription or a need for some basic health items. It’s honest work and it keeps us connected to the community here. We just take one day at a time and try to keep things moving. There is always something to do around the shop.
