Vinayak Time

If you come to No. 6/7 in Lati Plot, you will find Vinayak Time. We spend our days surrounded by clocks and watches. It’s a lot of small parts and tiny screws. You need a steady hand to work on these things. The shop is filled with the sound of ticking, which you get used to after a few minutes. We have benches where we sit and look through magnifying glasses. It’s a quiet kind of work. Lati Plot is a busy area, but once you step inside, it feels different. We handle all sorts of repairs and sales. Some of the watches are very old and some are brand new. We don't have a big corporate office or a shiny showroom. It's just a practical workspace where we can focus. Sometimes a customer brings in a watch that hasn't worked in years. We try our best to get it ticking again. It’s satisfying when you hear that first tick. We’ve been here for a good amount of time now. Most of the people in the neighborhood know us as the place to go when their watch stops. We don't do any big promotions. We just sit at our desks and work on the movements and the batteries. It's a simple, honest way to spend the day. We usually close up early on Saturdays to spend time with family.
