Usha Memorial Hospital

Usha Memorial Hospital is located on Sardar Road. If you look for the Indian Overseas Bank, we are right above it. It’s a bit of a landmark in this area. Being on the upper floor keeps us a little away from the street noise of Sardar Road, but we are still very much in the middle of everything. We’ve been here for years, and the stairs up to the hospital are well-worn by now. People come here for all sorts of medical reasons. It’s a local hospital where the staff usually knows the regulars. We don't have a lot of big signs or fancy decorations. It’s just a functional space with beds, some medical equipment, and a small waiting area. It can get a bit cramped when it's busy, but we make it work. Most people in the neighborhood just tell others to go to the place above the bank. We handle emergencies sometimes, and other times it's just routine checkups. Living and working on Sardar Road means we see a lot of the town’s daily life. We keep things simple and honest. We aren't part of some big chain. It’s just Usha Memorial Hospital, sitting right there where it’s always been. We open early and stay open as long as there are patients to see. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we do here.
