Usha Advanced Ceramics

We run our business from Plot No. 2 A/151 in Azad Nagar. We work with advanced ceramics, but the shop itself looks more like a traditional workshop. It is not a clean, clinical laboratory. Instead, you will see a lot of dust from the raw materials and various molds sitting on the workbenches. The kilns we use to fire the ceramics make the place very warm, which can be tough during the summer months. We spend our days shaping parts and monitoring the temperature of the ovens. Azad Nagar is an area with several other small workshops and industrial units. Our work is very technical, but we do it in a very hands-on way. We don't have a big marketing budget or a professional sales team. Usually, it is just us in our work clothes, covered in white ceramic dust. We make specific parts that are needed for different industrial uses. Sometimes a batch doesn't come out right and we have to break the pieces and start all over again. It’s a lot of trial and error. We have a small office area near the entrance where we keep our drawings and basic tools. We've been at this plot for quite some time now. It’s a practical, hardworking environment where we focus on the quality of the ceramic pieces we produce. We don't have any fancy signs or big displays. It’s just a place where we get the job done every day.
