If you go down to Survey Number 136 in Unchi Mandal, that is where you will find us. We are right in the heart of the Morbi district, where everyone seems to be making something out of clay. The yard is always full of pallets. Sometimes it feels like there is not enough room to walk around. We’ve been at this location for a good while. My brother and I started with a much smaller setup, but it grew bit by bit. We didn't really plan for it to get this big, it just happened because people kept asking for more. The noise of the machinery is something you get used to after a week or two. Now, I do not even hear it anymore. We have a crew of about twenty people. They know the routine. We do not really have fancy meetings. We just talk about what needs to be done over a cup of chai in the morning. Morbi is a busy place, always changing, but Unchi Mandal stays pretty much the same. The dust is a constant struggle, though. You wash your truck and an hour later it is grey again. We keep our heads down and focus on the production line. Sometimes a batch does not come out right and we have to start over. That is just the way it goes. It is a lot of manual labor, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills.
