Uma Vidhya Sankul

Our school is part of the Uma Township area on Dharampur Road in Morbi. It is a growing part of town, right near the PP Works. Because of all the industry around Morbi, there is often a bit of dust in the air, but we keep our classrooms as clean as we can. The building is a solid structure with a fair amount of space for the students. We have a mix of different age groups coming here every day. The township is a quiet place compared to the main city center, so it is a decent spot for a school. We have a playground that gets a lot of use during the afternoon breaks. The classrooms are basic, with the usual desks and chairs you’d expect. We don't have any flashy equipment, just the stuff that is necessary for day-to-day teaching. Most of the staff live nearby, so they walk or ride their scooters to work. We have a small office near the main entrance where we handle all the administrative bits. Sometimes the bell is a bit loud, but it keeps everyone on schedule. We see a lot of familiar faces every morning at the gate. It’s a community-focused school where we just try to do our jobs without making a big fuss. People move into the township and their kids end up coming here, so we have grown along with the neighborhood over the years. We keep the main gate painted bright so it’s easy to find.
