We are located way out on Lilapar Road in the Lakhdhir Nagar area. It’s part of the Navagam Road stretch, near Machhu-2. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but this is where all the space is for a business like ours. At Sun Touch Laminate, we have a large warehouse because laminates take up a lot of room. They are stored in big, flat crates stacked on top of each other. The smell of the resins and the wood materials is something you get used to after a few days. It’s quite a dusty environment, so we are always cleaning the surfaces of the sheets to make sure they look right. The machines we use are pretty loud and they run for most of the shift. We have a small crew of guys who handle the loading and unloading of the trucks that come in. The road outside can get quite muddy when it rains, making it hard for the heavy vehicles to move. We spend a lot of time checking the inventory and making sure the patterns are all sorted correctly. There isn't much around us except for other industrial plots and some open land. We usually bring our own water and food because there aren't many shops nearby. It’s a quiet life in terms of people, but the factory itself is never silent. We just keep moving the stacks and keeping the production going until the sun goes down.
