You’ll find us over at Shakti Chambers 2, right on the 8 A National Highway in Morbi. We have offices 10 and 11 on the first floor. Being on the highway is important for us because that’s where all the action is in this town. We deal with stones and related export items at Stonex Exim. It’s a lot of back and forth with the local factories. Morbi is a dusty place because of all the ceramic and stone work, and our office is no exception. We try to keep it clean, but it’s a losing battle with the trucks passing by all day. We are a small team and we’ve all been in this business for a long time. There’s no corporate ladder here, just us trying to get the work done. We spend a lot of time checking samples and talking to drivers about their routes. It’s practical, everyday work. We don't use big words or have complicated processes. We just look at what needs to be shipped and we make it happen. Usually, we are sharing some snacks in the afternoon and talking about the latest news from the highway. It’s a simple life and we like the routine of it. We know the people around here and they know us. It’s just how business is done in Morbi. The stairs in Shakti Chambers 2 can be a bit steep if you aren't used to them, but we walk them many times a day.
