SHAGUN CERAMICS

We are located on Old Ghuntu Road in Morbi, right near Sona Ceramics. Everyone knows that Morbi is the place for tiles and pottery, and we’re right in the thick of it. SHAGUN CERAMICS is basically a yard and a warehouse where we keep all our stock. It’s a dusty place because of all the clay and the trucks moving around on the dirt roads. We spend our days checking the kilns or looking over the latest batches of tiles to make sure they aren't cracked. The office is just a small room with a fan and a couple of old desks where we sit to talk to the drivers. It’s not a glamorous business. You end up with dirt on your shoes and grease on your hands most days. The road outside is always busy with tractors and heavy lorries carrying goods to different parts of the country. We just keep our heads down and do the work. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the people in the trade. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs and have a chat when things quiet down in the evening. It’s a simple life focused on making and selling ceramics. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the loads are full and the customers get what they paid for. It’s just the way we do things here on Ghuntu Road.
