Rosemin Plastic

Rosemin Plastic is found at Lati Plot- 8, which is where you’ll find our workshop. Most days are spent out here among the concrete buildings. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but this place is home to us. The front yard is usually cluttered with plastic scraps and crates waiting for the trucks. Inside, the noise from the machines is pretty loud, so we end up using hand signals to talk to each other. After several years of working here, my shoes are permanently dusty. We have a small office with a wooden table that wobbles if you lean on it too much. That old calendar on the wall has been there for years because we like the mountain photo. When the afternoon sun hits the door, we slide the shutters down halfway to keep the heat out. We aren't doing anything fancy. Making plastic parts and keeping up with the schedule is the main thing. If it rains too hard, the delivery trucks sometimes get stuck in the mud out front. Then we all have to go out and push. It’s just the regular routine of a local business. We drink a lot of water to stay cool and keep the machines running until it's time to lock up. Usually, we are tired by the end of the shift, but the work is steady. Every morning we come back and do it all over again. We make sure the bins are filled and the orders are sorted for the day.
