Bhimani Ceramic Industries

Bhimani Ceramic Industries is located in Rafaleshwar, which is part of the Morbi area. If you know anything about Morbi, you know it’s all about ceramics. Everywhere you look, there are chimneys and piles of clay. We are right in the middle of it all. Our factory isn't the biggest, but we keep busy enough. The smell of wet clay is something you never really get out of your nose. We spend our time checking the kilns and making sure the pieces come out without cracks. It’s a lot of waiting for things to dry and then waiting for them to fire. We don't have any polished sales pitches or a fancy showroom. If you come to visit, you’ll see us in our work clothes, probably covered in a bit of white dust. We’ve been in Rafaleshwar for quite a while, and we’ve seen the area grow a lot. The roads around here are always full of trucks carrying tiles and sanitaryware. It’s a noisy, busy place to work, but we like being part of the industry. We have a small office with a couple of chairs for visitors, but we usually end up talking out on the floor. It’s just more practical that way. We don't pretend to be some huge international company. We are just a local ceramic business doing our best with the clay and the heat every single day.
