You can find us at Keda Ceramic Pvt. Ltd. out in Jambudiya, right along the 8-A National Highway. It’s a busy stretch of road, as anyone who lives around here will tell you. We’ve got a decent-sized space here, but it always feels a bit crowded once the trucks start arriving. My father started this whole thing, and now a few of us keep it running. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any of those things you see in big city offices. Most of the time, we’re out on the floor or in the back checking the kilns. It gets quite hot, especially in the summer months, but you get used to it. We keep things pretty simple. If there’s a problem with a batch, we fix it. When a machine breaks, we spend the afternoon getting it back up. We don't spend much time on social media because we’re usually too busy with the actual work. Most of our neighbors are doing the same thing, so there’s a bit of a community feel among the factories here. We share tools sometimes or help each other out if a truck gets stuck in the mud. It’s a hard way to make a living, but it’s honest work. We don't make big promises or use fancy slogans. We just try to get the tiles out on time and hope the electricity stays on for the whole shift today.
