Om Water Resort

We are out here in Village Vanaliya on the road that goes between Vanaliya and Mansar. It is a bit of a drive from the center of Morbi, but that is why it is quiet here. We started this water resort because the summers in Gujarat get very hot and there wasn't much to do for fun nearby. We have several pools and some slides for the kids to use. It is not like the massive parks you see in the big cities, but we have enough space for families to spread out and enjoy the day. Maintenance is a big part of what we do every day. Keeping the water clean and the pumps running takes a lot of work. Sometimes things break and we have to spend the morning fixing a pipe or a filter. We have some trees around the edges for shade, though they are still growing. It is a local place run by people from the village and the nearby town. We don't have any corporate office or anything like that. It is just a practical business for the community. Families bring their kids on Sundays and it gets quite loud with all the splashing and shouting. We just try to make sure there is enough water in the pools and the gates are open on time. It is a simple way to spend a day away from the city dust and the factory noise.
