Nityanand Enterprise

Our place, Nityanand Enterprise, is situated in Real Plaza 1, right on the 8-A National Highway. Being on the highway means it is always noisy and there’s a lot of traffic. It's a very practical location for us though. The building is one of those standard commercial blocks. We are on one of the floors with several other businesses as neighbors. Our office is pretty straightforward. We have some computers, a printer that jams way too often, and a lot of binders full of records. We don't really do much decorating. There's a calendar on the wall from three years ago that nobody bothered to take down because we like the picture on it. Most of our day is spent handling orders and talking to suppliers. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy furniture or expensive paintings. It’s just a workspace. We have a small pantry area where we keep the kettle and some biscuits. Sometimes the elevator in the building breaks down, so we have to use the stairs, which is a bit of a workout. The parking lot out front gets really crowded during the middle of the day, so we usually try to get here early to find a spot. It's a busy life but we're used to the pace of the highway business. It gets dusty, but that's just life on the 8-A. We just keep our heads down and work.
